The RVH Foundation hosted its very first DAFFODIL DANCE on April 13, 2024 as our official Cancer Awareness event. Combining the previous Celebration of Life dance event formerly hosted in January and adding in a luminary opportunity to recognize our community cancer champions (similar to Relay for Life) the Foundation introduced our new signature event; The Daffodil Dance.
The RCAF Wing was decorated in yellow to commemorate Cancer Awareness month and the entire hall was enveloped in Live, Love Lanterns to recognize our Yellow ribbon heroes. The lanterns were hung from the ceiling and provided a very special tribute to not only those who have gone through a cancer journey but also to salute those who have helped them along the way.
Special thanks to THE SIDEWINDER Band who entertained the crowd and kept the dance floor full from the first song to the last. They were amazing and so supportive of our cause.
Thanks as well to Jesse, The Backyard Gourmet for the delicious array of appetizers and snacks that were enjoyed by all. The food was incredible.
It was an incredible night celebrating life and community all in support of oncology and mammography services right here, close to home.
