Special thanks to PIZZA HUT Renfrew who initiated a wonderful fundraising event for Cancer Awareness month. Pizza Hut’s “SHARE A SLICE, SHARE THE FIGHT” promotion ran the week of April 22 – 28 and donated $5 from every regular sized pizza to our RVH Oncology and Mammography department. The Pizza Hut team was enthusiastic and were genuinely excited to hand over $1575.00 which represented the donation from 315 regular sized pizzas!
Yellow cancer awareness ribbons were given out onsite and the Management and Staff were so excited to give back to our community hospital.
We are so fortunate to live in this amazing community and have the support of businesses like Pizza Hut and the folks were supported their fundraising efforts.
