Our incredible RVH AUXILIARY continues to amaze us with their dedication, commitment and outstanding support of our community hospital. Since its inception, the RVH AUXILIARY had raised over $1.8MILLION, yes that is MILLION dollars for the Renfrew Victoria Hospital.
The Mission Statement of the RVH Auxiliary states:
The purpose of this voluntary auxiliary group shall be to assist the hospital in every possible way in the interests of the best patient care. This purpose shall be accomplished under the direction of the Hospital administration, by interpretation of the Hospital to the public, by service to the Hospital and its patients by fund raising in a manner satisfactory to the Administration and in harmony with the planning of the community. This Auxiliary will be operated without purpose or gain for its members, and any profits or other assets will be used solely to promote its objectives.
This incredible group continues its mandate and through a variety of annual fundraisers, lots of bake sales ,tortierres, fashion shows and raffles in addition to the proceeds from our lovely RVH Gift Shop. It is outstanding what this dedicated group of individuals has done for our community hospital. There are a few members with over 50 years of committed volunteer service to the RVH Auxiliary which is absolutely incredible.
Our RVH Auxiliary has been and always will, be a VALUED legacy of the Renfrew Victoria Hospital.
