September 30, 2023 was the last official day for long-time RVH Foundation Board Chair JIM LEMENCHICK. Jim retired from the board after serving an unprecedented 29 years!
Governance, Leadership, innovation and a passion for our regional healthcare describe JIM LEMENCHICK’S role as a community builder as Chair of the Renfrew Victoria Hospital Foundation Board of Directors.
For over 29 years, Jim has been instrumental in the growth of the RVH Foundation and the establishment of the Foundation policies, procedures and processes. Thanks to Jim’s direction and business acumen, the RVH Foundation is recognized as a major financial contributor to the Renfrew Victoria Hospital.
“We convinced Jim to stay on to chair the 25th Anniversary Golf Classic which was postponed until September so we could celebrate his contribution to RVH and the Foundation at an event that he was a key founder of”, Patti Dillabough, Executive Director of the RVH Foundation stated. “It was the perfect event to surprise Jim with some personalized recognition gifts.”
The RVH Board presented Jim with 2 “BERRYLANE” Adirondack chairs to relax in by the pool along with some personalized golf balls.
The RVH Foundation Board gifted Jim with a one-of-a-kind Richard Gill art piece depicting the past and present of the Renfrew Golf Course along with some customized golf balls and a recognition plaque that will hang outside of the RVH Foundation office outlining Jim’s contribution to the Foundation and the hospital.
As Jim retires, he hands over the reigns of RVH FOUNDATION BOARD CHAIR to KIM STERLING a serving Board member on the Foundation.
